New Ford Escape For Sale in Elkhart, IN

The Ford Escape is the SUV You Want to Drive

Zeigler Auto Group is proud to have the vehicles that will make your drives around the Bristol area easier and more fun. The new model-year Ford Escape is one of those vehicles that take every feature it could possibly pack into it and give it the power to make it even more desirable.

More to See and Hear

The Ford Escape comes with the technology features that take driving to a whole new level. Vehicles today utilize the upgrades to computer interfaces to add more digital displays to the front for the information you want. These displays show you your speed, how many miles you have before you need to stop at a gas station, how to get to your destination, and what music you are listening to. Other technology the Ford Escape also has is more USB or socket plug-ins to keep your electric devices charged. The ten speakers throughout the cabin make listening to music more enjoyable.

Put the Pedal to the Metal for Power

Even though the Ford Escape is a smaller SUV than some of the others in its lineup, it still has the power you would want from a family-friendly SUV. There are a couple of options on the engine, depending on what you want out of it. There are two gas-powered engines and a hybrid option.

There are two regular gas-powered engines that you can choose from depending on the trim level that you get and if you need more power. The base engine that comes default on all trim levels is a small 1.5L engine that can move through 190 pound-feet of torque. But, if you want to add more abilities to the SUV, the optional turbocharged 2.5L adds 250 horsepower to your drive. Every engine can come with available all-wheel drive if you want that stability during snowy winters in Granger.

New for the small crossover is the hybrid version of the vehicle. This is perfect for those that want to watch how they treat the environment in Goshen and the world. This hybrid powertrain still has the energy to get you around with the 2.5L gas-powered motor and the battery pack that generates 200 horsepower. Hybrid vehicles emit less harmful gasses because it relies heavily on the battery pack to move the SUV.

Each powertrain lets you tow a boat, RV, or trailer full of furniture around with a 3,500-pound towing ability.

Defensive Driving Made Easy

There is more to a vehicle than just the fun entertainment features and powerful engines. There is a lot that you need to think about when you are on the road in Mishawaka. Defensive driving is important because you do not always know what a driver is going to do before they do it, and you need to respond accordingly. The safety features on the Ford Escape help you to see what is going on around you so that you can make even better driving decisions.

The blind spot monitor will show you if there is a vehicle in your blind spot so that you do not try to make a lane change when there is someone next to you. If the car in front of you suddenly stops or slows down drastically without you realizing it, the forward collision mitigation system will apply the brakes for you if you start to get too close to them. This will stop your front end from getting damaged. When you are on the highway setting cruise control helps you to maintain the flow of traffic, but if all of the sudden traffic slows down, the adaptive cruise control system on the Ford Escape will also slow down your speed to match. These features and more help to keep you safe while you drive.

Take the Ford Escape for a Test Spin

The Ford Escape lets you do a lot with its small package. You do not have to worry about missing out on any features or customization options just because this is a smaller SUV than the Ford Explorer or Ford Expedition. We have a large inventory of current model-year Ford Escapes on our lot in Elkhart for you to look at and see if you want.
