Ford prides itself on making cars and trucks that are tough enough to handle anything. Case in point, the F-150's newly announced Police Responder model has been specially designed to help police officers do the important work they do. Equipped with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, the Police Responder can take advantage of 375 horsepower and a 7,000-pound towing capacity.

With a top speed of 100 MPH, an impressive 470 pounds-feet torque and 132 cubic feet of cargo space, it's a versatile vehicle that does a lot.

The Police Responder might be reserved for law enforcement, but the 2018 F-150 is not. When it releases later this year, potential owners will have access to a range of model variants and engine options (including the EcoBoost V6) aimed at making sure they're driving the truck the need.
